The Padauk Crystal Over Aluminum is a strong, throaty call with plenty of character and a great break from front to back.

Turned from Padauk, this pot pairs a crystal playing surface with an aluminum soundboard to produce a clean, higher-pitched front end that rolls over into a deep, throaty rasp. It has enough volume and presence to reach out when needed, while maintaining the natural hen tone and control you want when a bird gets close.

The crystal gives the call a crisp, responsive feel, while the aluminum underneath adds depth, rasp, and attitude to the back end. It's especially strong on yelps and cutting, with a pronounced rollover that gives the call a mature, throaty sound.

This is a call with some backbone, but it's not just about being loud—the high front end and raspy, throaty finish are what make this combination stand out.

Each call is hand-turned, individually tuned, and built in Abbeville, South Carolina.
