The Leopardwood Glass Over Aluminum brings a deep, throaty sound with plenty of turkey built into it.
Turned from distinctive Leopardwood, this pot pairs a glass playing surface with an aluminum soundboard to produce a clean front end that breaks into a deep, throaty rasp. The glass gives the call a crisp, responsive feel, while the aluminum underneath adds depth and attitude to the back end.
This combination has enough volume to reach out when you need it, but its strength is in that mature, throaty hen sound. It handles yelps and cutting with a strong rollover while still giving you the control to back down into clucks, purrs, and softer calling when a bird gets close.
And with the wild grain and figure of Leopardwood, every pot has a look all its own.
Each call is hand-turned, individually tuned, and built in Abbeville, South Carolina.
